Mary Duby is a member of DUGGAN BERTSCH’s Corporate Group and its Sports and Entertainment Group.

Mary represents clients, such as private companies, family offices, events and festivals, in connection with a wide range of transactions, business ventures and general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial contract negotiation, organizational matters and corporate structure and governance.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mary served as Senior Counsel at The IRONMAN Group, which operates a global portfolio of mass participation events, and as Senior Counsel at Vivid Seats, a leading independent marketplace for tickets to live sports, concerts and theater events. Mary started her career in the corporate advisory group of a large, international law firm in Chicago, where her practice focused on mergers and acquisitions and other general corporate matters for public and privately held companies, private equity funds and their portfolio companies.

Mary earned her law degree at the University of Chicago and graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Outside the office, Mary serves as the Vice Chair of the Affiliates Board of the Ounce of Prevention Fund, which supports high-quality early childhood experiences, particularly for those children born into poverty.
