We are seeking a Tax Accounting Intern to assist us at DBTA for this upcoming winter, 2023, tax season. The timeframe for the internship would be January 9, 2023 through April 17, 2023.

DBTA offers a wide array of tax experience, coupled with flexibility and work-life balance, which includes a hybrid in-office model and capped 40 hour work week if the candidate chooses. The internship can also be used as a gateway to a full-time offer (based on performance), in which the candidate could start as early as summer, 2023. Qualifications:

• Major in Accounting

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of individual, partnership, corporation, tax exempt, and fiduciary tax returns
• Preparation of tax workpapers that accompany tax returns
• Preparation of information returns (1099, 1096, etc.)
• Accounting and bookkeeping preparation using various software

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies, including tax preparation software
• Ability to work in a paperless working environment
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
